iPUNIX Technologies Pty Ltd founded by it's Managing Director Harry Degenaar in late 2002 specializing in the outsourcing of Java and Delphi software Engineers working on ERP applications for the UNIX and LINUX operating platforms.

During 2009 iPUNIX embarked on the assembly of Linux Servers aimed at the Small to Medium Enterprise and a range of basic Linux Desktops for the Home User and advanced Multimedia Workstations for the Graphics/Audio Professional and high performance gamer.

Furthermore iPUNIX assembles in Strathpine a range of medium to high performance Linux Engineering/CAD Workstations for Professional Engineers. In it's assembly process iPUNIX uses the best components available in the market like the Latest Intel i7 Quad Core and AMD 6 Core Opteron CPU's, ASUS Motherboards, ASUS Graphic Cards, Western Digital or Seagate Hard Disks and Kensington (1333MHz) DDR3 RAM Memory. For that very reason we offer twice the warranty on parts and labour than that given by our competitors.

Graeme's Profile
Graeme has a natural entrepreneurial flair which he used to create a number of successful businesses over the past 25 years. Graeme has been involved in a broad range of industries such as passenger transport, graphic design and printing, commercial lighting and software development. Graeme has developed a great empathy for small businesses and enjoys working with businesses whom have developed unique innovation, particularly in the area of environmental sustainability.

In the early 90's Graeme was a pioneer in the take-up by commercial businesses around Brisbane of high-output energy efficient lighting, which is now in common use in many of the iconic buildings around the Brisbane CBD. From commercial lighting, Graeme identified a niche in the market for computer visualisation of building spaces and worked with a number of organisations such as CSIRO, Luminova, the Walter Construction Group and other construction industry partners to create a software system for photo-realistic design using intelligent objects.

Graeme a Masters graduate from the University of Queensland has worked extensively with small businesses in all aspects of business planning including procurement of government grants for R&D and business development projects. Graeme is also experienced in the use of CAD visualisation tools, most web-based software and commerce systems and project management tools.

Graeme is assisted by Harry Degenaar as a Technical Consultant at iPUNIX Business Solutions.

Harry's Profile

Harry in synergy with his know-how in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) production plant automation engineering has extensive experience in CAD, SAP, Oracle, SQL DataBase and Citect-(SCADA/HMI). As a lead architect he worked on front and back-end LAN, intra / internet based applications building complete ERP systems for manufacturing businesses to achieve an increase in productivity and decrease their manufacturing cost. In the mid 70's Harry has done development work on the CP/M operating system, followed in the early 80's on MP/M-86, this (early network) turned a PC into a multi-user multi-tasking machine capable of supporting multiple concurrent users using dumb terminals attached by serial ports. This was followed by the late 80's on CDOS386 and from the early 90's on doing development work on the Linux operating platforms. He also specialized in propriety operating systems used in the industrial plant control and automation industries.

Harry now supports Ubuntu a 64Bit computer operating system based on the Debian GNU/Linux distribution.
